RateBricks is a community service for discovering, rating, reviewing, and organising brick sets. It is operated from Switzerland by the operator named in the Impressum. By creating an account or using an account-only feature, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 16 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to create an account. You must provide accurate information, keep your login details secure, and use only one account for yourself. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service, evade moderation, or violate these terms.
You keep ownership of the ratings, reviews, photos, notes, and other material you submit. You grant RateBricks a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and format that content as part of the service. This licence ends for content that you delete, except where retention is reasonably necessary for backups, legal obligations, or moderation records.
Do not submit unlawful, misleading, abusive, hateful, threatening, defamatory, infringing, private, or malicious content. Do not post advertising, spam, malware, or content that impersonates another person or organisation.
Reviews may be checked before publication and can be edited, rejected, hidden, or removed when they breach these terms. You can report a review using the report control shown next to it. Moderation decisions may be recorded so that repeated abuse can be handled consistently.
Brick-Off votes can be cast with or without an account. Do not use scripts, multiple accounts, or other means to manipulate votes or ratings; we may discard votes that we believe are not genuine.
Catalogue information, prices, availability, and purchase links may be incomplete or out of date. RateBricks does not sell the listed products and is not responsible for a retailer's products, delivery, returns, or terms.

RateBricks is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We aim to keep the service useful and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete catalogue data, or that user content is accurate. To the extent permitted by law, RateBricks is not liable for indirect loss, loss of data, or transactions with third-party retailers. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or rights that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer law.
We may update these terms when the service or applicable requirements change. The current version is always available at this URL, with the date shown above. You may stop using RateBricks at any time and delete your account from Settings.
These terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. The courts at the operator's registered address in Switzerland have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory places of jurisdiction for consumers. If you live in another country, the mandatory consumer protection rules of that country continue to apply.
